Must be able to maintain a work schedule of 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.Preferred: 5 years of equipment operating and/or maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated mechanical ability, including troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution. Past experience in as a crew leader/coordinator.Other: Basic PC skills A strong commitment to working effectively in a team environment. Instructs basic process knowledge training Provides technical support to all departments to implement improvements, installations and repairs to ensure safety guidelines and ergonomic principles are observed Evaluates and analyzes costs and techniques of new concepts or applications for manufacturing processes and presents relevant data to management for further study Prepares and reviews feasibility of capital appropriation requests for equipment, tools, new facilities and refurbishment of existing facilities. Negotiates and evaluates equipment cost reductions with equipment supplier Assists in the preparation of annual budgets for the assigned department, including capital and expense plans and equipment utilization studies Maintains specified records, files and documentation Performs and/or participates in 5S housekeeping, team activities, dress codes, safety rules and all other applicable company policies and procedures. | ||||
